Saving your history (beta)
One of the beta features I’ve been quietly working on is the ability to retrieve a history of saved urls. Currently this is tucked away inside of the beta features - so you need to open a console, but it needs your feedback and testing to understand if it’s viable and works. Please contribute to the feedback on github here.
This blog is being posted while I am in the air, en route to Austin Texas for SXSW Interactive. I have a bag full of Knight-Mozilla OpenNews pins (that’s them looking beautiful above), a giant list of people to meet, and some seriously exciting news to announce.
First off, there’s an OpenNews…

1942. We have the privilege of showing you the war as it looked to LBJ during his Australian trip. He shot some or most of this film—he is in a few of the scenes—and it includes aerial views from the cockpit of a plane, flight crews scrambling to get in the air, soldiers and civilians at camp, wounded in the hospital, and, finally, an informal review of the men. The film is silent, and quite dark in places, but rarely do you get to see history with this level of intimacy.
Adding to the story of this extraordinary film is that, according to Robert Caro, LBJ lost the camera itself and some of his film when the plane he was supposed to have been on was shot down over Lae, New Guinea.

I’m in love with men’s haircuts!!!
My favorite is the way men wore their hair in the 1920’s, influenced by traditional military haircuts these men looked sharp next to their flapper bobbed female counterparts
I try to keep my man Scott’s hair tight on the sides and long on top, just the way a good men’s haircut should be!
Here’s a good inspiration pic from that cutie cutie Michael Pitt!
